Apple updates MacBook Pro Retina model line-up!

Hot off the Apple desk!  Apple today announced the updated versions of the MacBook Pro Retina 13 and 15 inch models.

All 13-inch models received a speed bump of another 200mhz previously from 2.4Ghz to the standard 2.6Ghz and 2.8Ghz for the high-end model on Intel Haswell processors and a uniform 8GB ram on all models with Intel Iris graphics.  And good news to us is the slash price of P3,000 per unit.
As for the MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch models, there is also a speed bump of 200mhz now up to 2.2Ghz from 2.0Ghz and 2.5Ghz from the previous 2.3Ghz for the high-end model.  Memory of 16GB RAM comes standard on the 15-inch models with the higher end model sporting a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB GDDR5 memory.  Most notably a price cut of P3,000 for the base model and P6,000 for the high-end model.

If you ask for my opinion, if you do still find some of the just EOL models around the market, which will definitely have a sharp price drop due to the current Apple updates, it will definitely still be a good buy, so I suggest you settle for those instead, but still if you have the budget, by all means go for it.

Now is definitely the best time to buy or update your old machine to a brand spanking new one.  Head to Beyond the Box, Apple premium reseller stores and go get your Mac.
